It all started…
Noisily, and remains so at all family gatherings to this day. You see, Isabella is a proud second generation American to a Russian/Ukrainian-Jewish/Cuban-Jewish/Polish-Jewish family raised in Cincinnati Ohio. We’ll give you a minute to let that soak in.
Welcome back. Before graduating from Oklahoma City University with a BFA, Isabella was raised in a household with a constant mix of music from soul to Broadway, classical to country, folk to opera, Latin to klezmer. Isabella has world music literally in her DNA. Music was her first language to express every color of emotion, therefore it was only natural that she would be drawn to the stage. For Isabella, her love of theatre began in 7th grade playing the part of Rose Alvarez. Moving forward she gave new life to the characters that she was lucky enough to play in her highly competitive school district (check out the resume for details), and the rest as they say is Herstory.
While studying acting, classical and Broadway vocal arts. dance and general studies, Isabella took part in both student directed as well as faculty directed shows, recitals and master classes, as well as a local church choir.
Although Isabella is an avid world traveler, her heart lies most content in a big city. She has spent her spare time over the years utilizing her impenetrable support for human rights working with the UN Girl Up Organization, lobbying on Capitol Hill for the rights of women and children. You can always find Isabella rereading Harry Potter books, taking care of her body and mind thought exercise and mindfulness, and spending a lot of time laughing with her friends, mostly at herself, if not her family.
